We were thrilled to see Gluten Free Beauty featured in Delight’s recent article, “Feeling Beautiful . . . without gluten.”
Among their favorite GFB products is our Facial Moisture Serum which they described as “effective in fighting aging, acne, and dryness while also creating a harmonious balance in your skin.”
“Everyone has standards when it comes to beauty and skincare products. Still, people with gluten sensitivity are forced to push those standards a little further. All Gluten-Free Beauty products are gently crafted using all-natural and gluten-free ingredients with the purpose of providing skin nourishment and proper balance.”
We were excited to find Gluten Free Beauty among their listing of gluten-free, specialty personal care lines!
According to researchers at George Washington University, “Gluten-containing cosmetics can inadvertantly be obtained by the consumer [which] can result in an exacerbation of celiac disease.”
“Although the top ten cosmetic companies don’t clearly label gluten, a number of specialty companies sell gluten-free personal care products. Included . . . Gluten Free Beauty.”

We were so excited to when Prevention Magazine chose our Founder, Kristen Campbell, as a “Skinnovator” for developing a line to address her own issues with gluten in topical products.
And when the editors tried our products, they fell in love with our Pearl Anti-Aging Cleanser. It’s even featured in the article!
“Like many women with food allergies, beauty blogger Kristen Campbell found that using items made with her particular allergen (gluten) caused her skin to break out in a rash. Since she struggled to find makeup without it, she formulated the all-natural line Gluten Free Beauty.”

[Gluten Free Beauty's Facial Moisture Serum is] safe, 100% natural, vegan, gluten-free and can even be used on the body in spots that need some extra care.
In the past I’ve only thought of these problems as food-related issues; which is silly. I always say, “What you put on your skin should be as healthy as what you put in your body.” So why wouldn’t women with wheat intolerance want a wheat (gluten) free makeup? Some of you may be saying, “There’s wheat in my makeup?” I thought the same thing when I got the press kit from Gluten Free Beauty. I wondered if all of this was marketing hype.
But after checking several mainstream lines, I found wheat-based ingredients to be pretty high on the labeling. I was surprised.
Gluten Free Beauty founder Kristen Campbell didn’t overcome her acne problems until a diagnosis of gluten intolerance made her realize that it wasn’t just the gluten in her food, but in her hair and skin products, that was sabotaging her complexion.
Her Gluten-Free Facial Moisture Serum is designed to help others who share her plight.
Oil-based and pH-balanced (with no added fragrance or color of any kind), it restores elasticity and retrains skin to quit overproducing oil, which is the single best way to beat breakouts.
I knew the serum was geared towards women so I was planning on having my wife do the testing, but the scent was neither masculine nor feminine.
I used the serum in place of my aftershave and it HAS made a difference.
I get very dry skin in the winter, but with this product, I haven’t had that problem at all!
If you are affected by gluten contact to the skin then this is a must for you, but I would recommend this serum to anyone over the expensive specialty products.
What’s your “Holy Grail” skin care product that you couldn’t live without?
My Facial Moisture Serum.
I believe no one should be without a good moisturizer. In my late 20s my gluten intolerance caused a lot of skin issues in my formerly flawless skin. And I have to avoid gluten in my diet and topical form, but now I get compliments every day on how clear and youthful my skin looks, which I attribute to a great moisturizer.
My mom even uses the Facial Moisture Serum and she’s 59 and looks amazing!

Campbell was diagnosed with gluten intolerance, something experts say can affect up to 30 percent of the population.
Believing “what goes on, goes in,” Campbell not only purged her diet of gluten, a protein found in wheat, barley, and rye, she overhauled her makeup bag, handing off anything that contained “hydrolyzed wheat protein,” a form of wheat found in everything from conditioners to face creams.
Her skin responded almost immediately–her eyes stopped itching, her rash receded, and her breakouts cleared up.
